From structure fires and motor vehicle accidents to backcountry rescues, these dedicated volunteers offer professional-grade protection to the Oakland community out of a pure desire to keep our loved ones safe.
While our firefighters donate their time and courage, maintaining a modern, rapid-response rescue team requires significant financial resources. The volunteers and staff of Oakland Volunteer Fire Department are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
